Hello folks
The gig of yesterday went great and it was very much needed! The previous two gigs we had some sound problems but yesterday was really cool! Would like to thank Antoine for doing such a great job with the knobs. Some funny stuff happened though :) when we were doing the sound check in the afternoon they came to stop us because we were playing hard rock stuff! We thought that the evening was going to be some slow blues/jazz shuffles with long trading of solos! But hey we did rock the place in the evening and no one complained..hehehe. Yes it was good and this thanks to my new sound coming through my ENGL Invader head and Gsystem from TC Electronics. A Really an unbelievable tone that head produces:)
Now we're taking a week off due to Simon and Denis going abroad. Then we're starting to re write some original stuff that William has plus two new songs. Next gig is a big one...Aug 1st on a Sat night at the Beer Festival..sharing the bill with Ira Losco, winter moods and Tribali...so better be prepared so that we'll sweep through that event greatly.
This week I'll be going back to finish 3 songs I have in the middle of the job from my solo stuff. One's a rock tune, another a bit heavier and one's a moving ballad. Will give you a taste soon :) :)
